Phoenix Seminoles Fun Hike – Sat, Jan 25 – Marcus Landslide Trail
This beautiful trail has tremendous views of the McDowell Mountains, huge boulders, one of the largest landslides ever discovered in Arizona. This is one of my favorite hikes. Length: 5 miles roundtrip, Elevation Change: 280ft, Difficulty: Moderate, No dogs please. We will stop frequently to chug water and take photos. This is a fun hike, great for kids. You can shorten the hike to 1 mile roundtrip and see a lot. All are welcome.
Bring 1 litter of water, wear sturdy footwear with a good tread, bring snacks (orange slices, granola bar, banana). Bathrooms available at the trailhead, no water fountains. Arrival time: 10:00 am. Location: Tom’s Thumb Trailhead
